Referral link sharing, tracking and reward eligibility guide

A referral page often reduces the deal to one line: invite a friend and both accounts receive a reward. The actual route from link to credit is rarely that short. The new user may need to install from the tracked page, verify a phone number, make an eligible deposit or complete activity before either person qualifies.

Read those conditions before sending the link. A referral should be a transparent recommendation, not a way to pressure someone into using money. The PP2 directory can help you identify the current destination, but the live campaign terms decide whether a reward is available.

How referral tracking usually works

The platform needs to connect a new account to an existing user. That connection may rely on a URL parameter, invite code, device cookie or a code typed during registration. Tracking can fail when the process is interrupted.

A typical campaign expects the invited person to:

  1. open the unique referral link or enter the exact code;
  2. use a device and phone number not already registered;
  3. finish sign-up within the campaign period;
  4. complete any required identity or account checks;
  5. make a qualifying action, sometimes including a deposit;
  6. keep the account in good standing until the reward is reviewed.

Some offers also limit the number of referrals, exclude people in the same household or reject multiple accounts on one device. Incognito browsing, ad blockers and switching from browser to an unrelated app file can also break attribution.

If you may receive something, say so before the person clicks. That simple disclosure is fair to the recipient and makes the recommendation more credible.

You could write:

This is my referral link. I may receive a bonus if you create an eligible account and complete the listed steps. Cash play can result in a loss, so read the terms and do not deposit just for my reward.

Do not describe a conditional promotion as guaranteed cash. Mention the age restriction, any payment requirement and the fact that the app is operated by a third party. A friend should be free to ignore the invitation without having to explain why.

Useful sharing is more than posting a code

A bare link gives the recipient little reason to trust the destination. Add the details you would want before installing something yourself:

  • the exact app and operator name shown on the current page;
  • what the new user must do before a reward is credited;
  • whether a deposit, wagering or KYC check is involved;
  • the event deadline and any location limits;
  • where the platform publishes its support and privacy information;
  • a direct statement that results and referral credit are not assured.

Keep the explanation short enough to read. Copying a full promotional page into a message often hides the important clause rather than clarifying it.

Choose the audience, not just the channel

Sending a referral privately to an adult friend who already asked about the app is different from posting it in every group you can reach. Broad distribution can expose the link to minors, people in restricted locations and people who never wanted gaming promotions.

Public social posts should make the commercial relationship obvious. Do not hide the disclosure under a “more” button or use fake payment stories to attract clicks. In a private message, ask once and leave the decision there.

Never place referral links in school groups, debt-support communities or spaces used by people seeking help with gambling. The chance of earning a small reward is not a reason to ignore context.

Track progress without collecting private data

Use the referral dashboard supplied by the platform. It may show a masked phone number, registration status and reward state. That is enough for most checks.

Do not ask the invited person to send an identity document, bank screenshot, password or OTP so you can “help” the tracking. You are not the support team, and storing another person’s private information creates a new risk for both of you.

If a qualifying step seems missing, the invited user should contact official support from their own account. You can provide your invite code and campaign screenshot, but the platform should discuss account-specific information with the account holder.

Referral habits that damage trust

Avoid tactics that make a conditional offer sound easier or safer than it is:

  • claiming everybody receives the same amount;
  • promising a withdrawal time you cannot verify;
  • paying someone back secretly so they will make the required deposit;
  • creating accounts for friends or controlling their login details;
  • using shortened links that hide the destination;
  • posting old campaign screenshots after the terms have changed;
  • encouraging another deposit when tracking fails;
  • blaming the invited person when neither account receives credit.

These shortcuts can violate campaign rules and put both accounts at risk. More importantly, they turn a personal recommendation into pressure.

If the reward is missing

Why does the invite show as untracked?

The person may have registered previously, changed devices, opened a different download route or entered the code too late. Compare the sequence with the current campaign conditions.

Why is the status still pending?

Verification or a qualifying action may be incomplete, or the platform may review rewards in batches. Check the stated review period before contacting support.

Can support add a referral after sign-up?

Some operators will not change attribution once an account exists. Ask through the verified support channel, but do not assume a manual adjustment is available.

What records should I keep?

Save the campaign terms, referral code, date sent and status screen. Avoid keeping the other person’s financial or identity information.

A referral is still a recommendation

Share only an app you are comfortable naming openly, and explain the benefit and the conditions in the same message. If the recipient would need to spend beyond their plan for you to qualify, the responsible choice is to let the reward go.

This guide is for adults aged 18 and over and does not guarantee referral credit. Real-cash games can cause loss and addiction and may be restricted in your area. Follow local law, respect the recipient’s privacy and never treat friends as a source of automatic bonus income.
